Our client had recently taken possession of an established family home and needed to clear out some of the original fixures and fittings to bring it up to modern standards.

The first thing they desperately wanted to do was to rip out and replace the existing kitchen, which was in need of modernisation. The existing cooker was not fitted to modern building regulations and was tripping the wiring throughout the rest of the house.

Our building team arrived and quickly made light work of the existing kitchen cabinets. Within the first day we had cleared all wall surfaces and floorstanding units.
By the end of the second day, we had fitted the new plasterboards on the ceiling and had begun the chasing of the wiring and the plumbing in preparation to house the new sink, dishwasher and washing machine.

Day three saw the walls covered in plaster whilst the updating consumer unit (fuse board) was being replaced as this was essential as the client was fitting a new electric oven with a convection hob so the load on the system was far greater than before.

With the new wiring and plumbing in place and the plaster now dry and the walls painted, we could set to installing the new kitchen units.

The total time spent was just under a week from start to finish. The client couldn’t believe that we had managed to complete overhaul their kitchen so quickly and to a high standard too.
